• What should I do before my cleaner arrives?

    Please wash dishes and pick up any messes that would slow your cleaner down. We do offer some maid services for an additional fee. Check out our Maid Service Menu for more information. Please keep in mind that if you do not prepare your house for cleaning, maid service fees may apply at the discretion of your cleaner.


  • Do I need a Deep Clean?

    We have found that most people who haven't used our cleaning service need more than just a general clean because there will be many extra projects that need to be done to reach our standard of cleanliness. There are many factors that will affect the scope of work including how long its been since you've had a deep cleaning, how many people live in your home, whether you have pets, the size of your home etc...If it is your first time with us please book a deep clean.


  • Who can order a General Clean?

    Our clients must first go through the initial deep clean process before we are available for general cleaning. This ensures that each environment we work in meets our standards. If you are looking for a one time clean then please order a deep clean.

  • Can I order just one room cleaned?

    Yes, but keep in mind, we have a minimum $100 fee, and we would need to gauge the scope of work before agreeing on a price. If we agree to charge the minimum fee you can expect for that space to be immaculate upon our departure.

  • Do you do laundry?

    Yes; if you have laundry machines on-site. Please order the Maid Service Laundry as an add-on for this service.

  • Do you accept Special Requests?

    Yes! Please contact us with the details of your special request and we will discuss the best way to accommodate your needs.


  • Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

    For Residential Clients: If you prefer to be home during the cleaning that is okay with us, but it is not necessary. A lot of our clients provide us with a key or a lockbox code and they love coming home from work to an immaculate space.

    For Commercial Spaces: We require our services be provided after business hours.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We ask that our clients give us as much advance notice as possible for cancellation or switching the schedule. 


    Cancellations: If less than 48 hours, the fee is $75. If cancellation occurs the same day of service you will be charged for the clean minus $50.


    Rescheduling: If less than 48 hours notice there is a $50 fee for rescheduling.  If we are unable to reschedule the clean within 3 days, then the fee goes up to 50% of the cost of the clean. 

  • When is payment due?

    Payment is due on the day of service. We accept Cash, Check (Regular clients only), Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Venmo.

  • Is John's Cleaning Co. Insured?

    Yes we are fully Licensed, Insured, and Bonded. You can request a copy of our insurance when you sign up for services.

  • Some services that we don't offer:

    • shampoo service for upholstery
    • resurface, wax, or refinish floors
    • put away dishes
    • put away laundry
    • move heavy furniture
    • hauling garbage
    • cleanup of  bio-hazards
    • pest control/clean up
